We are called to be the physical presence of Jesus Christ by:

  • Worshipping God with passion
  • Intentionally growing in faith
  • Proclaiming the gospel with grace, and
  • Humbly serving in love

    United Methodists are…
    -Disciples of Jesus Christ who want to help others become disciples.
    -People who want to transform the world for the building up of the Kingdom of Heaven.
    -A worldwide connection of United Methodist Christians and Churches in 125 countries.
    -Children of God who recognize that they, like all persons, are in need of forgiveness and grace;
    and who recognize that all persons are created in the image of God and are persons of value.
    -People who hold onto the historic doctrines of the Christian faith.
    -Christians who recognize the Bible as the authoritative guide for faith and practice, but also
    recognize the importance of critical thinking as well as the value of tradition and experience.
    -People who place an emphasis on personal faith, while also recognizing the necessity to serve in
    the church, community and world.
    -Persons who do all the good they can, in all the ways they can, in all the places they can, to all
    the people they can, as long as ever they can.
