John 14:25-26; Matthew 25:14-30. Please read these Scripture for this week. Good stuff for living.
My brother, Craig, is an excellent artist in many disciplines. For 9 years, he was the First Chair at
Seagrove Pottery, Seagrove, North Carolina. His words of late:
“Now these 25+ years later, I have not “thrown a pot” in many moons. I think it would be quite hilarious for me to try today! The old saying, “it’s just like riding a bike”, does not apply!”
A marvelous talent and gift he cultivated through education and experience for many years (Presently, he is a draftsman for Corning Fiber Optics; he “tells” light which way to go everyday! Another talent, indeed.) However, Craig will tell you of his profound loss of ability-expertise in forming the clay into pottery. In a deliberate sense, he has “buried” that portion of his days.
What would happen to our world if “unburied” what we have had and have presently for betterment of life and the living of the Gospel of Jesus Christ? What would Covenant become?
“W + 2” will assist us. More to come.
See you Sunday.
